2 mosques are uninhabited at Agricultural University which is spread over an area of 5500 acre at Rajendranagar, hardly at a distance of 5 kms from Zoo Park Bahadurpura. Hyderabad is the city of mosques, minarets and madarsas but sadly no Hyderabadi tried for the rehabilitation of the said mosques located in the city which reflects Islamic culture. We have heard from our forefathers that when the prayer is not performed or the azaan is not called in the mosques, they cry so loud that the voice can be heard on the skies.
Surprisingly the persons who are trying to rehabilitate the said mosques do not belong to Hyderabad but hail from other cities. These non-local students are very much concerned about the rehabilitation of the mosques.
It must be noted that two ancient mosque are located in the premises of the great university. One is a Qutub Shahi mosque and the other one is Bukhari mosque which was founded on March 3, 1977 by Maulana Abdul Wahhab Bukhari.
The two mosques are in very good condition and are located in an open space.
