Dehradun:Two persons were killed today and three injured when a tractor-trolley fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand’s Almora district.
The accident occurred near Jauli village in Hawalbagh area when the tractor-trolley, in which five persons were travelling, fell into a roadside gorge killing two of them on the spot and leaving three injured, the district disaster control centre informed.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
It is not clear yet what led to the accident.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed grief at the loss of lives in the accident and wished those injured a speedy recovery.
