New Delhi, January 11: Two persons were killed in separate incidents of road mishap in the capital, police said today.
In a hit and run case, 42-year-old Ramesh, a washerman, was killed in Kamla Market area in Central Delhi this morning.
It was learnt that Ramesh was returning from Old Delhi Railway Station area after visting one of his relatives when the incident took place.
Some heavy vehicle seemed to have run over him killing him on the spot, a police officer said adding, “Nobody saw how Ramesh was killed. His head was crushed,” a police officer said.
In another incident, the driver of a truck was killed as his vehicle fell down from an unfenced flyover near GT Karnal road in outer delhi last night.
