Mathura: Two persons, including a child, were killed and as many others injured in incidents of tree and shed collapse during strong dust storms here.
“A 10-year-old boy was killed in Barauli village under Baldeo police station on Wednesday when a overhead shed fell on him during a strong dust storm, whereas 42-year-old Naveen Singhal, resident of Kamla Nagar, succumbed to injuries on way to the Nayati Hospital, when during a dust storm, a tree fell on the car he was travelling in,” ADM Ravindra Kumar said, adding that two other members of Naveen’s family injured in the incident and hospitalised are stable.
Naveen’s family was going to Vrindaban to visit Bankey Behari temple when a tree fell on their car on Chatikara Vrindaban road near Akshay Patra, under Vrindaban police station on Wednesday.
