Azamgarh (UP), March 05: Two persons, including a girl, were killed and as many injured following a clash between two groups in Devpaar village here this evening.
Superintendent of Police Bhawan Swarup Srivasatav said that a member of a warring group opened fire, resulting in the death of a 22-year-old youth and a 10-year-old girl.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital from where they were referred to Varanasi, the SP said adding that a case has been registered and investigations were on.
Old enmity was said to be the reason behind the clash.
