Kozhikode, July 08: Two persons were killed and an equal number injured, one of them seriously, when the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Malapuram, near Thamarassery in the district, today.
Police said the car was proceeding to Kaithapoil in the district when it crashed with the lorry coming from Wayanad.
The deceased were identified as Chacko Mathew alias Saji (38) and Deepu Varkey (21), police said adding the injured were admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
