Two burglary cases were registered from two houses of the same apartment in Ramakrishna Nagar, under Amberpet police station on Thursday.
According to police flat No. 205 of Heera Moti Apartment at Central Excise Colony in Ramakrishna Nagar reported a case.
U Venkata Chalapathi Rao, 52, a professor and his wife, Aruna, employee of NEDCAP, had left for office on Thursday around 9.30 am. After returning home they found that the front grill door was broken and 34 tolas of gold, cash and some silver articles were missing from the almirah.
The second case of theft was reported from the same apartment at flat No. 201 of M Raghu Ram, a software engineer. “Burglars stole 12 tolas of gold, Rs 20,000 and one kilogram of silver ornaments from the techie’s house as the family members were away from the home.
Police registers a case under 379 IPC after a complain lodge by the owners of the house.
