The city police today arrested two people and seized 24 swords and daggers from them.
In a statement here, police said Md Riyaz Hussain (24) of Moin Pura and Md Abdullah (28) of Salibanda were chased and
apprehended in the wee hours of today when they tried to flee on motorcycles after seeing police at Chandhulal Baradari Area.
Two daggers kept in a black color pouch were recovered from them.
Searches were also conducted at their houses and police recovered 12 swords and 10 daggers, some of them US made.
On interrogation, it was revealed that Md Riyaz Hussain bought the weapons from Nanded in Maharashrta to sell in Hyderabad city along with Mohd Abdullah, the release added.
