Unani Medical Association will organise a 2-day National Seminar UNAFEST 2014 on December 27 & 28 at Urdu Maskan, Khilwat Road. The seminar aims at publicising the importance and benefits of Unani medicine. Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Dr. T Rajaiah health minister and deputy chief minister, Mr. Abid Rasool Khan Chairman Andhra Pradesh Minorities Commission and Dr. Shaker Jameel Director General Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine will be the chief guests.
Dr. Mir Yousuf Ali Additional Director Dept. of Ayush, Dr. Mrs. Wasiya Naveed, Principal Govt. Nizamia Tibbi College, Dr. Syed Mahboob Pasha Principal Dr. Abdul Haq Unani Medical College and Dr. Syed Abdul Qadeer Principal Al-Arif Unani Medical College will be the guests. PG scholars of Unani will present papers on various topics like Paralyses, PCOD’s, diabetes, obesity, blood pressure and other diseases. Hakeem Ajmal Khan Memorial lecture will be given by All India Unani Tibbi conference. On the occasion awards will be presented to tabeebs who made remarkable services in the field.
