Hyderabad: Deccan Heritage Trust in collaboration with INTACH Hyderabad is going to organise exhibition of vintage photograph of historical Charminar that you must have never seen before. The exhibition of photos of 425 year old Charminar will be organised on October 16 and 17, at Urdu Hall, Himayatnagar. Exhibition timings are 11:30 am to 5 pm.
Charminar was built during 1589 to 1591 by the 5th Qutub Shahi ruler and founder of Hyderabad, Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah with the cost of 9 lakh. The monument is 48.7 metre tall from ground level. Stone and mortar were used to build the structure which weighs 14000 ton.

70 pictures of Charminar, from as far back as 1860 and 1870, 12 of which have not been put up for public viewing before, will be put on display.
