Humayun Nagar Police arrested 2 chain-snatchers and recovered gold jewellery worth Rs. 15.9 lakhs from their possession. The thieves were said to be passing by Priya Theatre, Mallepally, in suspicious condition on black pulsar. They tried to flee after spotting the police cops busy in search operation.
Police shifted 35-year-old Mohammed Qutub alias Saifuddin and Shaikh Fayyaz to the police station and interrogated them. Where they revealed about their involvement in 22 chain-snatching cases in Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
Police recovered 530 grams of gold jewellery from their possession.
