Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy today said that with two Cath Lab machines first of its kind in government run hospitals across the nation, NIMS will become first hospital to offer better health services.
Launching Rs 10.8 cr Cath Lab facility here the minister claimed that everyday 25 to 30 Heart related tests will be conducted every day against 15 tests for heart and angiogram conducted so far. Lakshma Reddy said that the government is focusing on providing unsurpassed health facilities in public sector. The new facility will help conduct more number of tests with accuracy he said adding that the government will also increase equipment and latest medical facilities at Gandhi and Osmania hospitals. He said that vigilance is increased on those who are carrying out misinformation on the government hospitals.
Stating that the hospitals are witnessing more number of patients than the actual capacity there might be cropping of small problems. Stringent action will be taken against such people who tarnish the image of the government he warned. The doctors and staff should work in coordination and the patients should cooperate for better medical services he added. (NSS)
