New Delhi: There will be tension in Ayodhya on account of Shiv Sena and VHP’s programmes.
Convener of Babri Masjid Action Committee and Secretary of Muslim Personal Law Board wrote letters to State Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and Police Chief demanding the security of life and property of the Muslims.
It may be mentioned that the ownership case of Babri Masjid is pending in the Supreme Court.
Maulana Khalid Rasheed, member of Muslim Personal Law Board in his letter expressed concerns over the present situation in Ayodhya.
He alleged that there is a conspiracy behind these protest programs. These organizations want to create a 1992 like situation in Ayodhya. He demanded the State Govt to ensure the security of lives and properties of the Muslims. He also stressed the need to obey the order of the Supreme Court to maintain the ‘Status Quo’.
Secretary of Personal Law Board, Mr Zafaryab Jeelani wrote letters to State Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and DGP and asked them to maintain law and order.
Mr Jeelani heavily criticized VHP and Shiv Sena that they are organsing ‘Dharam Sabha’ in the name of taking blessings, it is nothing but a planned conspiracy.
He mentioned that Shiv Sena wants people to believe that the BJP is not serious about the construction of the temple.
