Hyderabad: Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy has stated that the creation of separate Telangana State was a result of 1969 separate Telangana movement.
After releasing the book titled ‘The History of 1969 Student Leaders’’ along with Jalamandali chairman Prakash and Government adviser Vivek here on Saturday, Nayani said the sacrifices of martyrs were unforgettable in Telangana movement and assured that the State government would recognize their families.
The Home Minister reminded that the final phase of movement was taken up by TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and achieved separate Telangana State by intensifying the movement. He said he would take the problems of the 1969 movement agitators to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and try to solve them. (NSS)
