Jind : A 19-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two of her acquaintances in a village in Panipat district, police said today.
The woman in a police complaint said she had gone to her aunt’s home in Chulkana village where two men befriended her.
On May 7, the men told the woman that her mother had met with an accident and offered to accompany her home in Safidon village, the police said quoting the complaint.
They allegedly raped her near a river on their way to her home and fled, the police said.
A case has been registered against the two persons under relevant sections of IPC.
