Mumbai, February 17: The Mumbai police have arrested a doctor from Kalyan for allegedly raping his 19-year-old girl assistant.
According to the police, the victim who was to join a multinational bank was raped by Jitender Mishra (26) on her last last day at the clinic.
The victim in her complaint said that Mishra convinced her to accompany him to his new flat at Vilas Apartments in Chakkni Naka after claiming that a woman patient had to be administered first-aid.
“Mishra shut the clinic in the afternoon and asked me to come along with him, but I got a shock when I found the house empty. Mishra then locked the door and forced himself upon me. He then warned me against reporting the matter to anyone and threatened to tarnish my image,” the girl told the cops.
