Mosul: Yazidi girls were burnt alive by ISIS terrorists after they refused to have sex with with extremist in Central Mosul, Iraq. They burned them alive inside an iron cage on Thursday in front of a large crowd. According to ARA News report.
An eyewitness said. “The 19 girls were burned to death, while hundreds of people were watching. Nobody could do anything to save them from the brutal punishment.”
A local media activist was quoted as saying in the report that. “They were punished for refusing to have sex with ISIS militants.”
Since 2014 the ISIS militants have killed,raped and enslaved 3,000 to 5,000 Yazidi women and young girls, including minors.
Islamic State militants consider the Yazidis to be devils worshippers as their faith blends the elements of Christianity, Zoroastrianism and Islam.
ISIS has exploited the five year civil war in Syria to seize areas in that country. In August 2014 the United Nations began air strikes to save Yazidis.
Most of the Yazidi population, numbering around half a million, remains displaced in camps inside the autonomous entity in Iraq’s north known as Kurdistan.
