New Delhi, Mar. 4 (ANI): Defence Minister A.K. Antony on Monday informed that there have been 188 instances of ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir between 2010 to 2012.
In a written reply to the Lok Sabha today, Antony said that two army personnel were killed during these violations in 2010, and one army personnel was killed in 2012.
Antony said the Government of India has taken up the issue of cease-fire violations with Pakistan consistently.
He further said that all violations of cease-fire are also taken up with Pakistan military authorities at the appropriate level through the established mechanism of hotline, flag meetings as well as weekly talks between the Director Generals of Military Operations. (ANI)
