Lodging strong protest against inclusion of 18600 bogus voters in the electoral rolls of Yakutpura assembly constituency, Majlis Bachao Tahreek handed over a complaint to Returning officer Yaqutpura Mr. Vandan Kumar and demanded immediate exclusion of bogus voters from the list. MBT spokespersons Majeedullah Khan Farhat and corporator Azampura Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid called on Returning Officer and submitted the list 18,600 bogus voters in Yaqutpura Assembly segment.
MBT President Dr Qayam Khan also submitted the list of 21,200 bogus voters in Chandrayangutta assembly segment to Returning Officer Chandrayangutta assembly constituency.
Investigation into the matter revealed that the election fraud has been done by the local party in active connivance of the Elections Wing of GHMC.
Corporator Amjadullah Khan Khalid told that MBT was defeated in the last elections through similar bogus voting and rigging.
