Sasaram, March 13: Eighteen teachers of panchayat schools have been suspended on the charge of getting jobs on forged certificates in Bihar’s Rohtas district, an official said today.
The teachers were suspended yesterday on the basis of an inquiry report which found their education certificates were fake, District Magistrate Anupam Kumar said.
He said the block education officials had been directed to lodge FIR against the suspended teachers.
Kumar said he had received complaints from local people about the credentials of the teachers and had ordered a probe in the matter.
