Palghar: In an offence related to ragging, 16 Doctors of a medical college have been booked after the junior registered the complaint against them.
The incident is reported from Dr M L Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute in Maharashtra’s Palghar district where the 23-year-old student was ragged by seniors while preparing for a college event, BS reports.
Taking action against the crime, the Palghar police have registered an offence against 16 senior doctors under section 4 of Prevention of Ragging Rules 1999 said public relations officer of Palghar police station Hemant Katkar said.
Probe into the matter is underway while no arrests have been made in the case so far.
