Hyderabad, October 05 (Siasat News): State government has agreed to provide 16 percent bonus to the workers of Singareni Colleries Company, incharge president Sangareni Collieries Company Ltd INTUC Union Mr. Venkat Rao MLC told this.
Leaders of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd INTUC Union met chief minister K Rosaiah and informed him about their problems and the bonus to be paid to the workers of Singareni Collieries.
Since the Singareni Collieries has been gaining profits for the last few years as a result of excellent
performance by its workers, and this year too the company gained a profit of Rs 268 crore, the chief minister had been asked to provide more bonus to the workers, on which chief minister Dr. K Rosaiah assured provision of 16 percent bonus to the workers.
Expressing thanks to the chief minister the delegation announced to call off protest programme.
