State Energy Minister G. Jagadheesh Reddy said that the combined initiation of Telangana State skill development management, employment generation and marketing mission ‘mega job mela” helped 1500 unemployed rural youth across the district to get jobs in private companies. The Minister has inaugurated the job mela at the NG College here on Wednesday,
Speaking to the media persons on the occasion, he said that after formation of Telangana State, youth of the soil were getting good opportunities in the government and private sector including retail, marketing, sales, pharmacy, nursing, real estate, textiles banking and security services which were coming forward to recruit eligible unemployed rural youth of the district as per their requirement.
Following the announcement and wide publicity of departments concerned, about 3200 un-employed youth having educational qualifications from 5th class to degree came for the job mela for settlement in the life. After certificate verification and oral interview, managements of private companies recruited about 1500 youth of their choice.
He informed on one hand, the government was taking all steps to fill-in vacant posts in various departments, through TSPSC. On the other hand, conducting job melas to provide employment to the youth of different backgrounds.
He further informed that in order to excel in forthcoming police recruitment, about 1100 selected aspirants of BC, SC, ST. and Minority will be given free coaching with accommodation for one month in Devarakonda and Nalagonada to achieve their dream of job police.
In this program he is accompanied by the district collector P. Satyanarayana Reddy, SP Vikram Jeet Duggal, ZP Chairman Balu Nayak, MLA Gasdhari Kishore, DRDA project director R. Anjaiah, NG college principal Nagendhar Reddy. Representatives of companies and other dignitaries participated. (NSS)
