Ghaziabad: A class IX student was allegedly gang-raped by two teenage neighbors and also her friends in a secluded park in Sahibabad on Monday said reports.
The 15-year-old victim studying in a Government school in Shahdara said she was waylaid by the two accused while she was returning from a shop on Monday. She went with them when they said her younger brother had met with an accident, TOI reports.
The victim later returned home and narrated the whole incident to her parents who supported her in filing a police complaint against the accused.
Reporting on the incident, SHO of Sahibabad police station Jitendra Singh said the victim knew the two boys for some time.
“Our investigation has revealed that the girl had gone with them on the bike around 6.30pm and half an hour later they dropped her in front of her house.
The girl was sent for medical examination on Tuesday afternoon and her statement has been recorded”.
One of the two accused has been arrested while a search is on for the other accused said the SHO.
