A 15-year-old-boy Mohd Nawaz was murdered by a group of people and his body dumped in a drain in Rein Bazaar on Tuesday, the police said. Police suspect personal enmity behind the killing.
According to Rein bazar police, deceased Mohammed Abdul Nawaz, son of Mohammed Abdul Ghani a Roti Maker resident of Chawni Nade ali baig of yakhutpura had gone missing for the last four days Jan 11 after he went for work. His family members tried to trace him but after failing to find him lodged a complaint at the Rein Bazaar police station on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the elder brother of the deceased, Mohd Parvez, a car driver, received a phone call from a person Khusro who informed that Nawaz was murdered and his body dumped inside a drain at Imam Bada in Yakutpura.
Few days back Parvez released from jail, police suspect Accused persons hatched a plan to murder of deceased on January 11, accused persons called the deceased near electricity junction yakhut pura railway station and after heated arguments suddenly they attacked on deceased due to which Nawaz was instantly died on the spot, after that accused persons wrapped a body in plastic polythene and dumped in drain and fled away from the spot.
The family members and the police retrieved the body from a 12 feet deep drain on Tuesday night. The miscreants had killed Nawaz and dumped his body in the drain and covered it with a lid, the police said.
Rein Bazaar police station Inspector G. Ramesh said that Parvez was involved in property offences and the killing of Nawaz might be due to gang rivalry.
A gang of local property offenders including Ali Baoum, Khusro, Mohammed, Laiq and a minor are the prime suspects in the case, the official said.
Police register a case of murder under section 302, 201 IPC r/w 34 and dead body shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his parents. Case is under investigation. (INN)
