15 resolutions in Plenary; KTR sure of cake-walk in Palair bypoll

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today called upon the party leaders and workers to participate in huge numbers in the Plenary and party meeting in Khammam district on April 27 besides making efforts to win Palair bye-poll.

Addressing a party general body meeting at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, KTR said some 15 resolutions will be passed during a delegates meeting that will be followed by a public meeting. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will address the public meeting. The Minister said the party will develop at grass-root level to towns only when the leaders work with people and resolve their issues. He said the leaders should vie among themselves for serving the people by addressing their issues on continuous basis. He also maintained that after many victories in elections, the TRS leadership is conducting its crucial plenary meeting in Khammam district. The TRS set a record of sorts with thumping majority in the GHMC elections with 99 seats out of 150 seats recently. The plenary and delegates meeting will see the attendance of huge number of party leaders and workers KTR said.

Referring to Paliar bye-poll, KTR asserted that the ruling party will win the election. The TRS fielded Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao for bye-poll, who is looking into plenary arrangements. KTR also expressed confidence that with people’s support and continuous backing, the ruling party will have a cake-walk in Palair. He said the people are backing the ruling party for its numerous welfare schemes and developmental programs. (NSS)
