TRS decides to support YSRC in AP

Hyderabad: The TRS leadership has decided to extend support to the YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the report published in DC, the party leadership decided to hold talks with YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the proposed Federal Front at the national level.

On January 16, Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and working president of TRS, K.T. Rama Rao met at Lotus Pond after which the TDP leader criticized YSRC chief for sacrificing Andhra pride before TRS just to fulfil his ambition of becoming the CM of Andhra Pradesh.

The sources in the party said that the repercussions of supporting the YSR Congress has been positive and the emotional bonding between the AP people and Hyderabad would trump/upstage regional sentiment.

Mr Rama Rao has become a bridge between people of AP and the TRS. Hence, it makes sense for the Chief Minister to make common cause with Jagan Mohan Reddy.
