Telangana Government today offered permissions to 14 new industries and businesses that will invest about Rs 1,118.62 crores and provide employment to 7,079 persons in the State, Industries Ministries Jupally Krishna Rao has said.
The State government was giving hassle-free fifth phase permissions of TS-ipass to the new companies showing keen interest in pumping in huge funds and provide jobs to the local talent. The Industries Minister offered permission letters to the 14 companies at Secretariat here. Of the 14 companies obtained government permissions, six will be set up in Ranga Reddy district, four in Mahabubnagar, Medak two and one company each in Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts.
The minister asked the industries to offer 70 to 80 per cent of jobs to locals. The new industrial policy is best in the world as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is offering all permissions in just 12 days while Western countries take 30 to 45 days for giving permissions he claimed. During the previous four phases the government offered permissions to 1013 units that invested Rs 25,972 .28 crores, and provided employment for 76,314 persons he said.
Companies to be set up in districts with their products include – Nucon Aerospace Pvt. Ltd will start Aerospace and defence system integration facility and Capco Electronics (P) Ltd to produce Capacitors in Ranga Reddy district, SP Solren in Mahabunagar for Solar Power-10MW, Smart Agro Food park Pvt. Ltd in Nizamabad to start Food park, Gurudatta Paper Boards Pvt. Ltd in Nalgonda Kraft Paper, SAMKRG Pistons and Rings Ltd in Medak to start Piston, Gudgeon Pins, Vintage Coffee Pvt. Ltd in Mahabubnagar for Instant Coffee, Citron Formulations Pvt. Ltd, Unit-1 in Ranga Reddy to begin Tablets and Capsules, Cronus Pharma Specialties India Pvt. Ltd in Ranga Reddy district for Liquid and dry powder, Mahi Granites Pvt. Ltd for Granite Slabs, Sunborne Energy in Mahabubnagar for Solar Power -35MW, RMD Foods and Bewearges Pvt. Ltd in Medak for Mineral Water, Maheshwari Mining and Energy Pvt. Ltd in Ranga Reddy for soar power -10MW and Global Coal and Mining Pvt. Ltd in Ranga Reddy for solar power – 10MW.
Secretary, Industries Arvind Kumar informed that Telangana Industries would go online for all Payments, due which difficulties and delays will be minimized. Replying to a query, he informed that several investments above 200 crores were in the pipeline and in final stages. He said that the visit to Sweden and China were successful and by April.”We will see many Mega projects”, he said, adding that the principal approval for NIMZ was received.
