Johannesburg, July 26 : Days after twin blasts rocked the regional capital of Yaounde, at least 14 people have been killed in a bombing that targeted a bar in Maroua in north Cameroon.
A military official said that several people were injured and the authorities will be able to give a more accurate picture tomorrow, reported News24.
Saturday’s attack took place in the evening when a man ‘threw a bomb’ towards a bar in the Ponre district and ran away, a security source said. He added that residents, who were not hurt, went after him but he set off a grenade to keep them away.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANI)
