The 14 Khadim-ul-Hujjaj (Haj volunteers) from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States were selected through draw of lots (Qurrah) on Tuesday at Haj House Nampally.
Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, IPS, Special Secretary and Commissioner, Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber, Director, Minorities Welfare Department (Telangana) graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer State Haj committees of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh presided over the function.
MA Rafi Qureshi PRO was selected among the official quota, while Md. Nooruddin, Abdul Kabeer, Md. Abid are the remaining three Khadim ul Hujjaj deputed from State Haj Committee. (NSS)
