Apple has reportedly revealed that around 130,000 apps, out of more than one billion apps, in its App Store are from Chinese developers.
Apple, in its Q1 earnings call, revealed the figures and apps from Chinese developers are expected to rise as the tech giant broadens its reach in the country.
According to Mashable, Apple’s Q1 earnings call focused primarily on expansion in Asia while overall growth in China is up 20 percent and revenue grew 31 percent during the quarter.
Recently, Apple partnered with China Mobile , the country’s largest wireless carrier, to begin selling the iPhone 5S and 5C.
Responding to the debut in the Chinese market, CEO Tim Cook said that it had been the best week they have ever had for activations in China. (ANI)
