Sasaram, May 25: As many as 130 children today fell ill, seven of them seriously, after having mid-day meal at a school in Bihar’s Rohtas district, officials said.
Rohtas Chief Medical Officer S N Sinha said the students complained of nausea and vomiting soon after they had the meal at a middle school at Nag.
They were rushed to Sadar hospital here for treatment, where the condition of seven students was stated to be serious, he said.
Meanwhile, district authorities have ordered an inquiry into the incident.
