A 13-year-old girl committed sucide set ablaze after she lost an i-Pod on April 12 at her residence.
According to police, the deceased, S Ahitya (13) an student D/o Raju carried the i-Pod to her school and lost it on April 12. Her brother learnt about it and apparently fearing that her brother might complain about it to the parents, she resorted to the extreme step by setting herself ablaze at her residence in Addagutta of Tukaramgate on April 12. Immediately she was rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment, where she succumbed on Friday morning.
Tukaramgate police registered a case and after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives. (INN)
