According to the report of Saleem Al-Hindi General Secretary Movement for Peace and Justice, he reached Cherlapally Jail, along with Khaja Moinuddin President MPJ, on the invitation of jailor. During the meeting the jailor recommended legal and financial help to some prisoners on the basis of their good conduct and for those who have completed their term but their family can’t afford to pay the fine. Hence MPJ immediately provided legal and financial help and released 13 poor and destitute prisoners. Counselling was also provided to them in jail premises.
