Siasat daily had arranged TET exam coaching at Chirang district in Assam. 13 candidates who were trained in the coaching centre qualified the exam. In the riot-hit Assam which was enveloped by communal violence in the end of last year, Siasat started relief and rehabilitation projects as part of which free TET training was provided to the students of Assam. 33 candidates got training in the coaching camp which was held from November 15 to December 15, 2012. The exam was held on December 21, 2012 and results have been announced.
13 candidates including 7 Muslim boys and 4 Muslim girls who got training from Siasat qualified the exam; besides them a boy and a girl from non-Muslim community also qualified the exam.
The programme convenor Mr. M N Baig thanked Mr. Zahed Ali Khan editor Siasat and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan managing editor Siasat for the encouraging results of training.
