Hyderabad, October 06 (Siasat News): Andhra Pradesh will require 1.25 lakh teachers for proper implementation of Right to Education Act. Likewise if the said act is implemented then 81435 new teachers need to be recruited in the next five years, while 9 thousand teachers are taking retirement from the service every year.
257 D.Ed and 79 colleges of Telugu pandit are required in the state while increase in the number of B.Ed colleges is not likely. However there is a capacity to increase 38 additional M.Ed colleges.
If the act is implemented sincerely then there is a possibility of recruitments on large scale which is good news for trained teachers but how effectively it is implemented remains to be seen.
