Hyderabad, October 4: Pilgrims of Hajj 2012 will leave for Hajj from the proposed new Hajj house at Shamsabad. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar disclosed this while addressing the function on the occasion of flagging off the 6th batch of Hajj pilgrims. He told that the state government has sanctioned 12.5 crores for the construction of new Hajj house and 3 crore rupees have already been released.
Congratulating the Hajj pilgrims chief minister said that every Muslim desires to perform Hajj atleast once in his lifetime. He said that state government is taking measures to provide all possible facilities to the pilgrims.
N Kiran Kumar Reddy revealed that the government is going to construct a Hajj house at Shamsabad on 10 acre land with an expenditure of 12.5 crore rupees, where a study circle for Muslim students is also proposed to be established.
Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Mohammad Ali Rafath, Syed Qubool Pasha Shattari, president Majlis-e-Ulema-a-Deccan, Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav MLCs Mohammad Jani and Farooq Hussain and PCC General Secretary Abid Rasool Khan, Syed Shah Afzal Biyabani, State Hajj Committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed and Minorities Welfare Minister Syed Mohammad Ahmadullah were present on the occasion.
