New Delhi: At least 12 trains are running late due to low visibility in the Northern Railway region on Friday.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog was observed in the isolated pockets of Punjab and Odisha on Friday morning.
The forecasting agency also recorded rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm at many places over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh.
The agency predicted that a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayas Region and plains of northwest India from tonight and another one from January 20.
The national capital is likely to have a cloudy sky with dense to moderate fog in the next week.
