12% reservations for Muslims – Hunger strike continues in Koratla

Hyderabad: All Parties Muslim Reservation Committee’s hunger strike entered the 7th Day yesterday. Mr. Ahmed Abdul Nayeem, State Vice President of Movement for Peace and Justice inaugurated the hunger strike camp yesterday. Speaking on this occasion, he told that TRS had promised to provide 12% reservation to Muslims in its election manifesto in 2014 but even after the lapse of two years, it did not fulfill its promise which is causing a huge loss to Muslim students. He pointed out that the parties which assumed power on account of Muslims support are exploiting them. He pointed out that Sudheer Commission is not going to benefit the Muslims. Mentioning Sachar Committee report, he told that the Muslims are more backward educationally and economically then the Dalits.

Mr. Mohammed Rafiuddin, Vice President of Koratla Municipality congratulated the Action committee for organizing this hunger strike camp. He appealed to Mr. KCR to provide 12% reservation to Muslims.

Mr. Mohammed Mazheruddin, President of Muslim Welfare Association, Koratla, Mr. Ilyas Ahmed Khan, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami of Koratla, Mr. Mohammed Najeebuddin, President of Muslim Empowerment Forum, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Qayyum, TRS leader and Mr. Mohammed Muzaffar Ahmed, Convener of Muslim Reservation Committee of Koratla also spoke on this occasion and demanded the TRS Govt. to provide 12% reservation to Muslims.
