Hyderabad: 12% reservation for Muslims campaign has forced the Govt. portals to intensify their steps. Those Muslims who had already submitted their memoranda have now decided to intensify their campaigns. It is felt that 12% reservation for Muslims is essential for the genuine development of the community. Ladies are also coming forward to support this campaign.
Authentic sources revealed that Govt. has decided to review the memoranda presented so far by various groups. The applications and memoranda submitted in the offices of Tehsildars, RDOs and Collectors are being reviewed.
According to reliable sources, Govt. wants to seek how many Muslims of Telangana State are demanding reservation.
Soon after receiving this information, a high-level meeting was convened in the office of Siasat Urdu Daily under the chairmanship of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan who is the chief patron of this campaign. Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Chief Advisor of the campaign, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily also participated in the meeting.
In order to intensify the campaign and also to exert maximum pressure on the Govt. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan has decided to participate in the public meeting to be held in Nalgonda. A delegation of Nalgonda had approached Mr. Zahid Ali Khan for this meeting. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan further told that 12% reservation for Muslims guarantee the progress of the Muslim youths. 12% reservation for Muslims could play an important role in the reconstruction of Muslim youths. The talented Muslim youth force is getting weakened day-by-day due to the decaying economy. On this occasion, it is obligatory on the part of every person of society to support the cause of development of Muslim youths. We cannot see our younger generation getting weaker and helpless. It is therefore 12% reservation for Muslims is the only source which can resolve our problems to a greater extent. He desired the Muslims of Hyderabad and Telangana State to strengthen the campaign for 12% reservation for Muslims and continue to submit memoranda to the officials and public representatives. The participation of Muslim women is an indication that this movement would get further intensified since they are also worried about the future of their children. Deprivation of higher education and employment would generate frustration among the Muslim youths. He impressed upon the Govt. to formulate BCs Commission to obtain its recommendation for 12% reservation for Muslims in order to fulfill its election promise and also to contribute for the prosperity of Golden Telangana.
