Hyderabad: TRS Chief, Mr. KCR had promised that if he gets power, he would provide 12% reservation to Muslims within four months but even after the lapse of 15-months, no concrete action has been taken in this regard. Instead of waiting for the report of Sudheer Committee, reservation could be made possible by getting recommendation from BCs Commission. Now that the process of recruitment for Govt. jobs has started, Muslims would get a larger benefit if 12% reservations are provided, otherwise they would be deprived of this benefit. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily while releasing the Telugu question bank for SSC. He informed that he has sent an open letter to Mr. KCR. He also told that this campaign has been intensified in Telangana districts. He advised the students to get mastery in three languages: English, Telugu and Urdu. He further told that Urdu is our mother tongue. No one can vanish Urdu. One should love Urdu as he loves his mother. He advised the younger generation to adopt various professions other than doctor and engineer. He pointed out that earlier, Secretariat used to have many Muslims employees but now there are very few persons in it.
Referring to the welfare activities of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that the publication of SSC question bank has been yielding fruitful results.
Mr. Ahmed Basheeruddin Farooqui, Retired DEO thanked the compilers of SSC question banks. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan congratulated Mr. Khaleelur Rahman, Correspondent of New Model High School on performing Hajj. He also congratulated Telugu pandith, Mr. Mohammed Rafi of Boston High School who prepared Telugu Question Bank under the supervision Mr. Shaker Ahmed. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Hameed conducted the meeting. Question bank booklet in Telugu was supplied to the participants of the meeting free of cost.
