New Delhi, November 16: In the duration of last two years, twelve children at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in New Delhi have been injected with HIV infected blood.
All the twelve children have been confirmed HIV positive in recently conducted medical tests.
As per the medical norms, the blood before being injected into a patient should be checked for any contaminations.
But this appalling incident shows that DDU hospital has completely ignored precautionary measures to be followed before injecting the blood.
