12 IAS officers shuffled in UP

Lucknow, April 08: The Uttar Pradesh government today effected a reshuffle in the state bureaucracy changing departments of 12 senior IAS officers, including principal secretaries.

Principal secretary family welfare and medical education Pradeep Shukla, who was removed from the post by the government following irregularities in the department detected during CMO B P Singh murder case, has been posted as member (judicial) in the Revenue Board.

Principal Secretary Medical and Health Neeta Chaudhary has been given additional charge of family welfare department.

Principal secretary family welfare II Prabhat Kumar Sarangi too has been relieved from the charge, but would continue to hold minority welfare department.

Chairman administrative tribunal and Vigilance Commission Jagan Matthews has also been relieved from the charge, but he would continue on the post of DG state rural institute.

Stuti Narain Kakkar has been appointed in place of Mattews.

Principal secretary vocational education Shailesh Krishna has been relieved from the charge and would continue to hold labour department.

Principal secretary cooperative department Kapil Deo transferred to medical education department in the same capacity.

Principal secretary small industries Satyajeet Thakur has been shifted to general administration department.

Principal secretary agriculture Sanjay Agarwal has been relieved from the charge, but would continue to hold the charge of sugar industry and cane development.

He has also been given additional charge of cooperative department.

Principal secretary panchayati raj B M Meena has been given additional charge of land development and water resources department.

Principal secretary Sushil Kumar has been relieved from sericulture department has been relieved from the charge, but would continue to hold minor irrigation, besides being given additional charge of agriculture.

Viresh Kumar, who was on the waiting list, has been posted as principal secretary vocational education, sericulture, minor industries, export promotion and handloom departments.
