Hyderabad: Even as the number of rebels is increasing in the Mahakootami (Grand alliance), over the selection of Congress and TDP candidates, the BC leaders are up in arms against the alliance for not allocating adequate seats to the BCs.
Twelve B C organizations today extended support to the call given by the BC Welfare Association for a Telangana bandh on November 17, to protest against the injustice done to the BCs in ticket allocation.
In a press note here, chairman/Presidents of Rashra BC Front, Rashtra BC Sangham, Rashtra BC Yuvajana Samkshema Sangham, BC Employees’ Asscoation, BC Vidyardhi Samgham, BC Sangharshana Samithi, BC Hakkula Porata Committee, BC Sena, BC Praja Samithi, BC Jana Samithi, BC Kulaala Aikya Vedikaa and Kendra-Rashtra Prabhutva Udyogula Sanghm, have given a call to the SC.ST, BC Sanghams and peoples’ organizations, to make the November 17 bandh a success. They flayed the upper caste leaders of the Maha Kootami parties for doing injustice to BCs in allocation of tickets.
