BC Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna today said that 119 Jyothiba phule BC Gurukul Schools will be launched across the state on June 12. At a video conference with district officials from Secretariat here he said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao allotted BC Gurukul schools to 119 Assembly segments. KCR, ministers, MLAs will launch the program across the state. Stating that the schools are ready with all facilities the minister sought to resolve the issues if any. Ramanna asked the officials to start the schools in a grand manner by involving MLAs and local leaders. The officials informed that they procured 10 acres of land for each school and will make use of other buildings until they are developed with all facilities. BC Gurukul students will be launched for 5 and 6 classes to benefit 41863 students during 2017-18 academic year. (NSS)
