Nagercoil, May 24: Eleven people were killed and 16 injured when their van collided with a bus at Thenpathoor in Tirunelveli district, police said today.
Twenty-seven persons from Vattavilai near here were returning to the town after attending a marriage in Tirunelveli when the mishap occurred late last night.
The injured have been hospitalised, they said.
