Chief minister Mr. N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday formed the 10th Pay Revision Commission for state employees. Retd. Special chief Secretary and present Director General National Academy of Construction Pradeep Kumar Agarwal will be its chairman.
10 lakh employees and pensioners will benefit from the commission. The pay scales of state government employees were last revised in February 2010, but with retrospective effect from July 2008. Employee unions have been asking for another Pay Revision Commission. After taking the representations into account the government decided to constitute the 10th Pay Revision Commission.
