Jizan, December 03: King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has ordered the construction of a housing complex of 10,000 units with public services of schools, health clinics, and mosques for evacuated families in the Jizan region in the wake of the clashes with armed infiltrators along the border with Yemen since Nov. 4.
This was announced during the King’s visit to the troops in the region Wednesday. The King ordered the completion of the housing complex within a year.
The King’s visit came only two days after his historic order to launch a massive investigation into the Jeddah rainstorm disaster that has left over 100 people dead.
In his address to the troops, the King said, “I am so happy to be with you as you are defending the country from terrorist infiltrators who with evil in mind have crossed its border, terrorized innocent people and made their lives legitimate targets without any consciousness of religion or ethics.
And we say to them, you have gone too far with your evil and have taken a difficult path, and we are, with the help of Allah, able to protect our country and nation from every corrupt and terrorist mercenary.”
“We are not afraid to loudly tell the truth and make justice prevail. As we fear Allah, we protect His religion and our nation. You have proved that you are the shield of this country after Allah’s protection. Your faith and trust in Allah have made you courageous and strong with no shadow of fear or weakness,” the King told the troops.
“Trust in Allah and we pray that He provides us with support,” the King said. “And in Allah (Alone) let those who trust, put their trust,” the King concluded with a Qur’anic verse.
Following his short visit to the troops, the King left Jizan later in the day.
