Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the process of recruitment was on in Telangana Police Department.
In his reply to a question raised by MLC Paturi Sudhakar Reddy in Legislative Council, the Home Minister informed that so far 10,032 Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (Police Constable) posts have been filled. They include Civil – 2012; AR – 3346; SARCPL – 56; SPF – 170; TSSP – 4029 and Communications – 329.
The recruitment of SCT SIs (Civil/etc.,) and SCT SIs (Communications/PTO) is in process, the minister added. (INN)
