Mr. Syed Hamid Mohsin, Chairman Salam Center distributed 1000 copies of Quran translated in Kannada among the police staff working in Office of Police Commissioner of Mangalore and in 20 police stations. In addition to this other books namely (Follow Me) Islam Shantia Dharma were also distributed. It is an attempt to eradicate various misunderstandings about Islam. It may be noted that Mangalore has been affected communal riots recently.
